Cypress to Review Traffic Flow and Improve Streets

valley_view_katellaCYPRESS Calif. (FNP) – The city of Cypress will undertake a study to analyze traffic flow to help insure safety of pedestrians and motorists.

Cypress will contract with Albert Grover and Associates of Fullerton to review traffic in preparation of safe route to school maps. The engineering firm will also examine the crossing guard locations.

The city set aside $68,900 for the study.

There are also plans in the works to improve Katella. The city appropriated $150,000 to develop the intersections of the street. Crescent will also get a facelift in their arterial overlay project. Cypress will likely share the cost of this improvement with La Palma.
