WrestleMania week is underway in Las Vegas, and independent wrestling promotions are seizing the spotlight. Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling held its "Whatever Forever" show Wednesday night as part of Shooting Star Fest, drawing dozens of fans into the Bizarre Bar for a card that delivered bruising, up-close action.
Champion AMIRA headlined the evening, successfully defending the Pandemonium: Pro Championship in a triple threat match against Janai Kai and Saya Ida. After absorbing Kai's kicks and Ida's punishing knife-edge chops, AMIRA cleared the ring of Ida and finished Kai with a world's strongest slam to retain her title, Fox News reported.
The undercard featured its own standout moment when Natsupoi, a former Wonder of Stardom champion, upset the heavily praised Johnnie Robbie with a cartwheel body press. Other winners on the night included Joseline Navarro, Miko Alana, Jiah Jewell, and the tag team of Danny Orion and Shimbashi, known collectively as New Fever.
Independent wrestling shows have become a staple of WrestleMania week, with promotions large and small running events throughout the host city. For fans in attendance Wednesday, the intimate setting — where the action was close enough to feel every impact — served as a fitting preview of the week ahead.
