Dudinha scored one goal and added an assist Saturday as the San Diego Wave beat Southern California rivals Angel City FC 2-1 in the National Women's Soccer League, according to the Associated Press.
The opening goal came in the 49th minute when Dudinha beat multiple Angel City defenders before firing a shot that deflected off defender Sarah Gorden and into the net. Gorden then turned provider five minutes later, tallying her first career assist to center back Emily Sams to equalize in the 54th minute.
San Diego put the game away in the 81st minute when Dudinha's cross found the head of rookie defender Mimi Van Zanten. It was Dudinha's fourth assist of the season, tying her for the NWSL assist lead with Portland's Olivia Moultrie.
The Wave, now 6-3-0, were coached Saturday by former Angel City head coach and current Wave assistant Becki Tweed. Head coach Jonas Eidevall served a suspension after receiving a red card in last weekend's 1-0 home loss to Bay FC.
Angel City dropped to 3-4-0. The club started the 2026 season with three consecutive wins but has now lost four straight.
Elsewhere in the NWSL, the Denver Summit dominated the Houston Dash 4-1 in Houston, with a game delayed more than 90 minutes due to inclement weather. Janine Sonis scored twice in her 100th NWSL start to lead Denver. Natasha Flint added a goal, and Ayo Oke set up Delanie Sheehan for the fourth. Houston was awarded a penalty after Flint fouled Danielle Colaprico in the box; Maggie Graham converted to make it 2-1 before Denver pulled away. Colaprico's start was her 200th in NWSL history, making her the fourth player ever to reach that milestone. The Dash fell to 3-4-1 and are now winless in four straight.
In Harrison, New Jersey, Gotham FC and the Boston Legacy played to a 1-1 draw. Jaedyn Shaw converted a rebound in the 37th minute after goalkeeper Casey Murphy denied Esther González's initial shot. Bárbara Olivieri then played Alba Caño in front of goal in the 40th minute to level the match and end Gotham's shutout streak at 341 minutes. Gotham midfielder Rose Lavelle missed the game with a hamstring injury. Gotham sits at 4-2-3 and is unbeaten in four straight. Boston improved to 1-5-2 and has gone unbeaten in three consecutive matches.
