The Detroit Lions will host the Chicago Bears at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, Nov. 26 in a Thanksgiving Day game that will air on CBS, the NFL and the Lions officially confirmed on May 14.
The game falls in Week 12 of the 2026 NFL season and continues a rivalry that has become one of the more consistent fixtures on the Thanksgiving schedule. It is the second time in the past three seasons that the Lions will host the Bears on the holiday, the sixth time in the past 12 years the two franchises have met on Thanksgiving, and the 21st all-time Thanksgiving meeting between them, according to Yahoo Sports.
Chicago holds an 11-9 record against Detroit in those Thanksgiving matchups.
The Lions have long been one of the anchor franchises for Thanksgiving Day football, hosting a game every year as part of the NFL's traditional holiday slate.
