Tracy Spiridakos, who spent years playing detective Hailey Upton on Chicago P.D., now has a premiere date for her next television project. USA Network's Anna Pigeon, a crime drama that has drawn comparisons to both Yellowstone and True Detective, will debut this August, according to Collider.

Spiridakos joined Chicago P.D. in Season 4 and became a central figure in the show's Intelligence Unit, working alongside Sergeant Hank Voight, played by Jason Beghe. Her character survived numerous traumatic storylines before eventually marrying Jay Halstead, played by Jesse Lee Soffer. Spiridakos departed the series in Season 11, citing a desire to pursue other creative opportunities. She went on to appear in a film before landing the lead role in Anna Pigeon.

The show is based on Nevada Barr's popular mystery book series and follows its title character, described in the official show description as a former city slicker who became a park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever. The description continues: Anna tries to outrun her demons while her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way.

The supporting cast includes Ronnie Rowe as Frederick Stanton, Paulina Alexis as Zoey Bear Child, and Melanie Scrofano as Bethany Lopez. USA Network has released a trailer for the series. Anna Pigeon is one of several scripted projects ordered at the network as it works to rebuild its presence in original drama programming. A second season of The Rainmaker is also on the way at USA Network.

No specific premiere date beyond August has been announced.
