The final chapter of Emily in Paris has begun, and it is being filmed in Greece.
Netflix confirmed that production on Season 6 of the French-set drama is now underway in the Mediterranean country, according to Deadline. The location was foreshadowed at the end of Season 5, when the character Gabriel sent Emily a postcard from a yacht in Greece. Season 6 will be the show's last.
Most of the main cast is expected to return, including Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Bruno Gouery, and Samuel Arnold. Camille Razat, who played Gabriel's love interest Camille for four seasons, did not appear in Season 5 and is not listed among the returning cast. Pierre Deny, who played Nicolas de Léon's father Louis, has died.
Collins, speaking about Season 5, described a shift in where the emotional weight of the story now sits. "The thing that's interesting about [Season 5] is, instead of it being open-ended for Emily, Emily is cool. She is fine. She is actually more concerned at work with what Princess Jane is bringing to the table," Collins told Deadline. "She's great with how she handled things with Gabriel and Marcello. It's Gabriel that's unsure, and I love that there's a shift there."
Season 5 followed Emily working in Rome as head of the Agence Grateau office there, where she was in a relationship with Marcello Muratori. The season ended with Mindy accepting a marriage proposal from Nico, a childhood friend of Marcello's, while Emily's own situation with both Gabriel and Marcello remained unresolved in ways that left room for the Greek storyline.
Ashley Park, who plays Mindy, described her character's choices in Season 5 as a turning point. "Mindy's never chosen the easier path for herself. In past seasons too she's always picked the harder path for herself when she knows it's the right path," Park told Deadline. "I think because maybe this rift with Emily softened her, I don't want to say weakened her, she kind of just wants to choose the easy path. And we see her make decisions in a s..."
The show first debuted in October 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and built an audience around its fashion, Paris setting, and serialized romantic plotlines. The Season 6 renewal was announced in January 2026. No release date has been set.
