Devyn Simone is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City. According to Deadline, a source close to the show confirmed that Simone will appear in season 16 of the Bravo reality series as a friend.
Simone is not new to the franchise. She appeared during season 13 and had previously tested for a full cast position before the show's 2023 reboot. The new season will also bring back Carole Radziwill, a cast member from before the reboot, who is returning to the show in the friend role as well.
Simone will join returning stars Erin Lichy, Sai de Silva, and Jessel Taank. New additions to the main cast include Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye.
Simone got her start in television as a cast member on The Real World: Brooklyn in 2009, where the show followed her ambition to break into the entertainment industry. She later participated in MTV's The Challenge. From 2017 to 2022, she was a regular guest panelist on The Wendy Williams Show. Her television resume also includes hosting and guest appearances on The Sherri Shepherd Show, Today, and Good Morning America, where she has appeared as a dating expert and matchmaker.
The Real Housewives of New York City is produced by Shed Media. Executive producers include Lisa Shannon, Lauren Volonakis, Anne Swan, and Andy Cohen. Eric Fuller and Alfonso Rosales serve as co-executive producers.
No premiere date for season 16 has been announced.
