The BRIT Awards will return to Manchester's Co-op Live arena for a second straight year. Organizers confirmed on June 9 that the 2027 ceremony is set for Saturday, February 27, with a live broadcast on ITV1 and ITVX.

According to Billboard, the 2026 edition was also held at the Oak View Group-owned Co-op Live, marking the first time in the awards show's nearly 50-year history that it had taken place outside of London. Prior to that move, the show had been held at The O2 Arena from 2012 through 2025, and at various other London venues dating back to 1993.

Stacey Tang, co-president of RCA Records at Sony Music U.K., has been reappointed as chair of the 2027 BRITs Committee. Tang will oversee all aspects of the show, including its creative direction, and will lead a committee made up of representatives from major and independent record labels, BRITs TV, and the BPI. She also appeared on Billboard U.K.'s 2026 Power Players list.

"It's a real privilege to return as Chair and to be back in Manchester for a second year," Tang said in a statement. "There was such an incredible energy around the 2026 show — across the city, the industry and with fans everywhere. I'm excited to build on that global success alongside a brilliant team, pushing the show creatively and continuing to celebrate the artists, the culture and the communities that make British music what it is."

The 2026 ceremony featured performances from Harry Styles and EJAE, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI, Mark Ronson, Olivia Dean, Rosalía, RAYE, and Wolf Alice. Olivia Dean collected four awards, including album of the year for her second LP, The Art of Loving. Noel Gallagher was named songwriter of the year, and Lola Young took home the breakthrough artist prize.

Organizers said the 2026 show delivered the largest global audience in the event's history.

BPI CEO Dr. Jo Twist OBE said the organization looks forward to "further developing our cultural impact across the U.K. and in Manchester itself around next year's show."

Manchester City Council leader Bev Craig welcomed the news. "This year's BRIT Awards in Manchester were a huge success with a global reach and massive local impact," Craig said, "and we're excited and ready to help make 2027 the biggest year yet for The BRITs!"
