Angel Reese made WNBA history on Saturday. The Atlanta Dream forward became the fastest player in league history to reach 1,000 career rebounds, hitting the mark in her 79th game as Atlanta defeated the Indiana Fever 113-96.

According to ESPN, it is Reese's first season with Atlanta and her third in the league. No player in WNBA history has reached the 1,000-rebound threshold in fewer games.

The win moved Atlanta past Indiana on a night when the Fever could not contain Reese on the glass. The final margin, 17 points, reflected how completely the Dream controlled the game.
