Caitlin Clark picked up her fifth technical foul of the season Monday night, and she did not hold back about it afterward.

Clark was assessed the technical during Indiana's 86-77 win over the Phoenix Mercury. After the game, she described the call as "ridiculous." According to ESPN, Clark made the comment directly following the victory.

The Fever held off the Mercury to secure the win despite the foul. Clark has now accumulated five technicals on the season, a number that puts her closer to league suspension thresholds if she continues at the same pace.

The WNBA has a system in which players who accumulate a certain number of technical fouls face automatic suspensions. Clark reaching five in the season is a development that could have consequences for Indiana if she continues to pick them up.

The Fever came away with the win regardless, finishing nine points ahead of Phoenix. Clark's frustration was visible during the game, and her postgame comment made clear she disagreed with the officials' judgment on the call.
