Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were married Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, in front of roughly 1,000 guests from the worlds of Hollywood, sports, and music. The ceremony featured 20-minute vows that Swift and Kelce wrote themselves, during which Swift sang and Kelce cried, according to guests who spoke to Entertainment Weekly.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Adam Sandler served as the officiant and performed an original song. Music icons Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney also performed at the reception, with McCartney reportedly delivering a rendition of The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand."

The guest list included Brad Pitt and girlfriend Ines de Ramon, Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper and girlfriend Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, Reese Witherspoon, Zoë Kravitz, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn, and GMA anchor George Stephanopoulos, among many others. Stephanopoulos described the vows as "everything you would hope for — real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving." AMC CEO Adam Aron, also in attendance, called the vows "long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing explorations by each as to how they met, why they want to be with each other for all eternity, the promises they made in joining their much-beloved two whole families (Kelce's and Swift's) as one, and committing to their new mutual life together."

Rather than a traditional wedding party, Swift had her brother Austin Swift serve as man of honor, while Travis's brother Jason Kelce stood as best man. The bride and groom's looks were designed by Jonathan Anderson, the creative director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, and also founder of menswear label JW Anderson. No wedding portrait has been released, and most guests have remained tight-lipped about the details.

Travis's mother, Donna Kelce, made a public appearance the following day at New York City's annual Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks event. She was dressed in an American flag tunic, white trousers, a red statement necklace, and red-framed eyeglasses. Asked about the wedding in an interview posted to Macy's Instagram account, she kept her answer brief. "I really can't say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man. Magical," she said on camera.

Mark Hamill offered a lighter take on the evening. The Star Wars actor posted a congratulatory photo of the newlyweds on Instagram and explained his own absence with a joke. "I declined to attend the wedding for a variety of personal reasons, but mainly because I wasn't invited," he wrote in the caption.

Billboard reported that Swift and Kelce opted out of bridesmaids and groomsmen entirely for the ceremony. The couple has not yet publicly released photos from the wedding.
