Charli xcx will host 25 listening events across four continents this week, giving fans an early hear of her upcoming seventh studio album before its release later this month. The singer announced the events on Monday, July 6, via Instagram.
According to Billboard, the listening parties are titled Music, Fashion Film and will take place at independent and repertory movie theaters from July 9 through July 11. Venues span North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Brazil, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
"i wanna play you my album," the singer wrote in her Instagram announcement.
North American locations include the Century Centre Cinema in Chicago, the Metrograph and Village East By Angelika in New York, Midtown Arts Cinema in Atlanta and the Nuart Theater in Los Angeles. Additional North American stops include Boston, Miami, Santa Cruz, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver and Toronto.
International screenings will take place in London, Manchester, São Paulo, Mexico City, Madrid, Milan, Brussels, Amsterdam, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Tokyo.
The new album is scheduled for release on July 24 and serves as the follow-up to Brat, her 2024 release that became a major cultural moment. Charli has released three singles ahead of the album: "Wink Wink," "Rock Music" and "SS26."
She has also announced a North American arena tour set to launch September 11 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. The tour includes a two-night stand at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and additional dates in Toronto, Boston, Washington D.C., Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles and Glendale, Arizona. The run wraps October 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
