The rematch that took 13 years to happen drew a massive streaming audience. UFC 329, headlined by Conor McGregor and Max Holloway, averaged 6.5 million viewers on Paramount+ across the United States and Latin America on July 11, according to Deadline.
Per Paramount Skydance, the telecast peaked at 8.3 million concurrent streams. The company said that figure represents more than any other exclusive live event on the platform and trails only Super Bowl LVIII across all live events in Paramount+ history. That puts it ahead of the Freedom 250 event at the White House in June, which peaked at around 7.9 million concurrent streams.
Total reach across the U.S. and Latin America was nearly 16 million viewers, counting anyone who tuned in for at least one minute during the telecast. Of that total, 14.3 million were in the United States.
The fight itself ended quickly. Holloway defeated McGregor by TKO just over one minute into the first round after McGregor injured his knee. Holloway is a former featherweight titleholder. McGregor is a former two-division UFC champion.
UFC 329 also featured a lightweight contenders bout between No. 5-ranked Benoit Saint Denis and No. 6-ranked Paddy Pimblett.
