A defense technology firm backed by private equity is moving toward a public market listing, filing paperwork with federal regulators this week as defense-sector IPOs continue to draw investor attention.

Lyntris Inc., based in Falls Church, Virginia, and backed by Trive Capital, filed for a US initial public offering Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to Bloomberg.

The company reported revenue of $241 million for the six months ended June 30, compared to $179.1 million for the same period a year earlier. That represents revenue growth of roughly 35% year over year in the first half of 2026.

Lyntris also reported a net loss of $13 million for the period, widening from a net loss of $9.7 million for the corresponding period in 2025.

The filing places Lyntris among a group of defense technology companies that have pursued US public listings in recent months as government spending on defense and national security technology has drawn investor interest. Bloomberg described the move as joining a defense rush to public markets.

No pricing or timing details for the offering were included in the initial filing.
