Two ranked lightweights meet Saturday night when No. 8 Mateusz Gamrot takes on No. 12 Quillan Salkilld in the main event of UFC Fight Night at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The six-bout main card is scheduled to begin at approximately 8 p.m. ET on Paramount+, according to CBS Sports.

Salkilld enters as a -142 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, meaning a bettor must risk $142 to win $100. Gamrot is listed at +120.

Gamrot, 35, is a native of Poland who has fought professionally since 2012. He is a former KSW featherweight and lightweight champion and carries a record of 26 wins against four losses across 31 career bouts. He has eight wins by knockout, six by submission, and 12 by decision. He has recorded the fourth-most takedowns in UFC lightweight division history, with 49. He is also a two-time Performance of the Night honoree and a three-time Fight of the Night recipient. Gamrot is coming off a submission win over Esteban Ribovics in April at UFC 327.

Salkilld, 26, is an Australian fighter who has been active professionally since 2021. He made his UFC debut on February 8, 2025, defeating Anshul Jubli at UFC 312 by technical knockout. He earned his most recent win with a knockout over Beneil Dariush at UFC Fight Night: Della Maddalena vs. Prates on May 2.

Both fighters bring finishing ability into Saturday's matchup, with Gamrot's grappling credentials contrasting with Salkilld's recent knockout power. Gamrot's four losses in 31 professional bouts reflect a career that has been built largely on consistency and technical wrestling.

The card represents one of the more significant lightweight matchups outside of a numbered event this year, with both fighters positioned inside the top 12 of a division that has seen considerable movement.
