Drake turned a crypto casino anniversary stream into something closer to a late-night variety show on Saturday. The roughly three-hour broadcast on Kick was tied to the ninth anniversary of Stake, the online crypto casino that has sponsored Drake's livestreams for years. According to Rolling Stone, the company advertised more than $1 million in cash and prize giveaways ahead of the event, including a $50,000 grand prize for one viewer.
Things moved quickly beyond gambling once the stream started. Drake used the opening portion to reflect on his recent output, having dropped three projects at the same time. He also delivered a warning to anyone in the rap world considering a response. "These guys are dropping albums, like hello and goodbye, and careful with that reply 'cause the pen isn't dry," he said.
The stream then shifted into a dating show segment. NELK co-founder Kyle Forgeard, a fellow Canadian, presented Drake with an SNL-style version of the 20-v-1 dating format. Women cycled through conversations with the rapper, who was eventually asked to choose one to "wife," one to hook up with, and one to make his best friend. Among those who appeared was adult-content creator Lily Phillips, who went viral in late 2024 after a documentary followed her having sex with 101 men in one day. Phillips announced that she was "rebranding as Drake's wife."
The final three contestants were influencer Jordyn Lucas, adult-film star Lena the Plug, and goth streamer Pinkchyu. Lucas was placed in the best-friend category and received $25,000 and a Birkin bag. Lena, who briefly removed her wedding ring after hugging Drake, got $25,000 and an all-expenses-paid trip reportedly to New Zealand. Drake gave Pinkchyu the "wife" designation. The outcome connected to a moment from his September 2025 appearance on Bobbi Althoff's podcast Not This Again, where he said his destiny was to end up with a "goth baddie."
Rap beef speculation also surfaced during the stream. Drake floated the idea of holding Stake's 10th-anniversary broadcast next year on a yacht, then quickly said he hates boats. Given rumors that he and Lil Yachty, whose nickname is Boat, have had a falling out, commentator Akademiks, who was livestreaming Drake's stream at the same time, suggested the remark might have been a subliminal shot.
