The Wheel of Time may be gone from Amazon Prime Video, but fans have found another way to stay in the world Robert Jordan built.

War of the Dragon: The Wheel of Time, a grand strategy board game from games studio Dire Wolf, has raised more than $1,167,000 on BackerKit against an original goal of just $50,000, according to Screen Rant. The campaign is still active, and the game is available to pre-order with The One Power edition priced at $135.

Amazon canceled the Prime Video series in 2025 following high production costs and low viewership, despite the show running for three seasons beginning in 2021. The cancellation prompted fans to launch the #SaveWoT campaign. The television adaptation was based on Jordan's fantasy novels, with Brandon Sanderson serving as co-author of the final three installments of the book series.

War of the Dragon was designed by Andy Clautice, Mike Mihealsick, and Ryan Schoon. The game is described as a grand strategy experience where players wage war across a land of magic, ancient prophecies, and powerful armies set to save the world or destroy it.

The game offers two distinct modes. Hero Mode is aimed at newer players and focuses on smaller-scale encounters that can be completed relatively quickly. Epic Mode is built for larger confrontations, where players command massive armies across the full scope of the universe.

"Both game modes span the two years from The Battle of Tow Rivers depicted in The Shadow Rising to the end of the Third Age. Hero Mode includes the preparations for The Last Battle, while Epic Mode brings the entire cataclysmic confrontation right to your tabletop," the game's description reads.

War of the Dragon is set to launch sometime in 2027.
