Rihanna returned to Barbados this month for the annual Crop Over Festival and brought her three children with longtime partner A$AP Rocky to visit the street named in her honor.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday, Aug. 11, the singer shared a rare look at the faces of her children: RZA, 4, Riot, 3, and Rocki, 10 months. According to Billboard, the post showed RZA in blue sunglasses and a burgundy Spider-Man T-shirt, Riot holding her mother's hand in jean shorts and a striped shirt, and Rocki secured in Rihanna's arms wearing a bright red shorts and shirt set.
"one minute I feel like that kid from Westbury…the next minute I'm bringing my own kids back to 'Rihanna Drive,'" she wrote in the caption.
In another image, Rihanna crouches down to show Rocki and Riot a commemorative plaque on the ground featuring her name beneath a drawing of the sun. A short video also shows all three children huddled around her as the family takes photos near the plaque.
"Trippy how life works! And the Glory STILL and WILL ALWAYS belong to the Almighty Creator!!!," Rihanna, 38, added in the post.
Rihanna Drive was established in 2017. The street was formerly called Westbury New Road and runs through the suburbs of Bridgetown, near the colorful home where Rihanna, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, grew up.
The family's visit to the street was one part of a longer stay in Barbados. Rihanna also participated in the Grand Kadooment Day Parade on Aug. 3, which served as the culmination of the Crop Over Festival that ran from July 4 through Aug. 3. She marched in an elaborate costume covered in jewels, sparkles, and peacock-colored feathers, blowing kisses to fans along the route before boarding a float.
