Megan Thee Stallion has signed a new distribution partnership with Interscope Records, giving the major label's resources behind her music while she keeps full creative and financial control. According to Variety, the deal allows the rapper to remain an independent artist with complete ownership of her masters and publishing. Interscope will handle global distribution and provide strategic support for upcoming releases through her entertainment company, Hot Girl Productions.
"I've always wanted to create music on my terms while building a legacy that extends beyond the industry," Megan said in a statement. "This distribution partnership with Interscope allows me to stay true to my creative vision while also increasing my global reach. I'm excited for this next chapter of growth and the expansion of my Hot Girl Productions empire."
The structure mirrors a deal she signed with Warner Music Group in February 2024. That agreement also allowed her to operate as an independent artist while drawing on a major label's promotional infrastructure. The new Interscope deal appears to replace that arrangement.

The partnership keeps Roc Nation involved in Megan's career management alongside the Interscope distribution relationship. No specific release date for upcoming music was announced as part of the deal.
