UFC 330 lands in Philadelphia on Saturday night, and the main event carries record-breaking stakes. Islam Makhachev defends his welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry at Xfinity Mobile Arena, with the five-bout main card set to begin at approximately 9 p.m. ET on Paramount+.

According to CBS Sports, the card marks the first time the UFC has held an event in Philadelphia in more than seven years.

Makhachev enters with a 28-1 professional record and a 16-fight winning streak. That streak already ties the consecutive-victory record held by Anderson Silva. A win tonight pushes him past it, alone at the top of that list. The Dagestan native claimed the welterweight title with a dominant performance against Jack Della Maddalena. Before that, he built his resume at lightweight, defeating Alexander Volkanovski twice and submitting Charles Oliveira. He holds a 59.5% significant strike accuracy, the highest in UFC history. He is also the promotion's 11th multi-division champion, a three-time Fight of the Night recipient, and a three-time Performance of the Night winner. CBS Sports named him its MMA Fighter of the Year for 2023.

His trainer is former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, a UFC Hall of Famer. That connection has shaped Makhachev's grappling-heavy, pressure-based approach to fighting that has worn down elite competition at two weight classes.

Garry, 28, comes in as the No. 1 ranked contender. The Irish fighter was a Cage Warriors welterweight champion before joining the UFC in July 2021. He won his first eight UFC bouts and stood at 15-0 before dropping a decision to Shavkat Rakhmonov in December 2024. He has since won two straight to earn this title shot. DraftKings Sportsbook opened Makhachev as a -340 favorite, with Garry at +270.

The co-main event features women's strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern making the first defense of her title against Gillian Robertson. Dern won the vacant belt in October 2025 by beating Virna Jandiroba, ending a stretch that had seen her go through a rough 2-3 run earlier in her career. Robertson brings a five-fight winning streak into the bout, making her a legitimate threat. Dern is listed as a -218 favorite, with Robertson at +180.

The main card opener matches Esteban Ribovics against veteran Edson Barboza at lightweight. Ribovics is a heavy -650 favorite, with Barboza at +470. Also on the main card, Jalin Turner takes on rising prospect Kaue Fernandes at lightweight. Turner is coming off a first-round TKO in his last fight. Middleweights Mansur Abdul-Malik and Dustin Stoltzfus round out the card. Abdul-Malik is listed as a -675 favorite.
