The Minnesota Vikings defeated the New York Giants 13-10 in a preseason game at MetLife Stadium. Minnesota scored first on a 35-yard field goal by Will Reichard in the first quarter. The Giants took the lead early in the second quarter when Jaxson Dart connected with Malachi Fields for a 15-yard touchdown pass. Ben Sauls added a 46-yard field goal as the first half expired, giving New York a 10-3 lead. Reichard made a 54-yard field goal in the third quarter to cut the Giants' advantage to 10-6. Carson Wentz then threw a one-yard touchdown pass to Myles Price later in the third quarter, giving Minnesota a 13-10 lead that held for the remainder of the game. The Vikings improved to 1-0 in the preseason while the Giants fell to 0-1. Minnesota also received bad news after the game, as veteran defender Jamal Adams was diagnosed with a season-ending right knee injury suffered during the second quarter.

The Chicago Bears defeated the Cleveland Browns 34-10 at Soldier Field. Cleveland opened the scoring with a 50-yard field goal by Andre Szmyt in the first quarter and extended its lead to 10-0 on a 14-yard touchdown run by KC Concepcion early in the second. Chicago answered with a 25-yard touchdown pass from Tyson Bagent to Maurice Alexander before Cairo Santos tied the game with a 51-yard field goal as the first half ended. Case Keenum threw two touchdown passes in the third quarter, connecting with Salvon Ahmed for 49 yards and Brittain Brown for six yards. Santos added a 49-yard field goal in the fourth before Coleman Bennett scored on a three-yard run. Santos finished with two field goals and four extra points. The Bears improved to 1-0 while the Browns fell to 0-1.

The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Seattle Seahawks 17-7 at Lumen Field. Seattle scored first when Drew Lock threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Montorie Foster Jr. in the opening quarter. Dallas responded with a 29-yard field goal by Brandon Aubrey early in the second quarter. The Cowboys took the lead shortly before halftime when Sam Howell connected with rookie Camden Brown for a 39-yard touchdown. Brown scored again in the third quarter, catching a two-yard touchdown pass from Joe Milton III. Brown finished with both of Dallas' touchdowns as the Cowboys improved to 1-0 and the Seahawks fell to 0-1. Attendance was 68,474.

The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the New Orleans Saints 24-20 at Caesars Superdome after overcoming a 20-6 halftime deficit. Audric Estime gave New Orleans an early lead with a nine-yard touchdown run. Jacksonville kicker Cam Little made field goals from 54 and 32 yards in the first quarter, while Tanner Brown converted field goals from 49 and 29 yards for New Orleans. Zach Wilson also threw a one-yard touchdown pass to Oscar Delp. Jacksonville began its comeback in the third quarter when Carter Bradley connected with Hunter Long for a one-yard touchdown, followed by a successful two-point conversion run by J'Mari Taylor. Little added a 36-yard field goal in the fourth quarter before Taylor scored the winning touchdown on a two-yard run. Taylor finished with 78 rushing yards on 22 carries. C.J. Williams caught two passes for 28 yards but did not score a touchdown. Attendance was 70,011.

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Carolina Panthers 29-14 in the first preseason game played at the new Highmark Stadium. Tyler Bass opened the scoring with a 33-yard field goal before Josh Allen connected with Keon Coleman for a nine-yard touchdown. Allen completed six of eight passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. Backup Kyle Allen completed 14 of 16 passes for 108 yards. Kenny Pickett completed 16 of 19 passes for 92 yards and threw a six-yard touchdown pass to Ja'Seem Reed for Carolina. Buffalo's Ian Wheeler rushed seven times for 41 yards and scored on a six-yard run in the fourth quarter, while Frank Gore Jr. added a three-yard touchdown run. Bass made three field goals and two extra points for 11 points. Carolina's Kyle Trask threw a late nine-yard touchdown pass to John Metchie III. Buffalo improved to 1-0, while Carolina fell to 1-1 after having previously played in the Hall of Fame Game. Attendance was 58,528.

The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 20-12 at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Harrison Mevis made field goals from 25 and 40 yards for Los Angeles, while Harrison Butker accounted for all of Kansas City's points with four field goals, including a 59-yarder. The Chiefs led 9-6 entering the fourth quarter, but Rams rookie quarterback Ty Simpson threw two touchdown passes to Dean Connors, covering nine and two yards, to put Los Angeles in control. Simpson completed 21 of 25 passes for 190 yards and two touchdowns in his preseason debut. Kansas City rookie Garrett Nussmeier completed 13 of 19 passes for 98 yards. Butker added a 26-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to complete the scoring. Attendance was 72,451.

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 24-7 at M&T Bank Stadium. Baltimore's only touchdown of the first half came in the second quarter when rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano connected with Ja'Kobi Lane for a 16-yard score. Tyler Loop made a 42-yard field goal in the third quarter after missing a 49-yard attempt earlier in the game. Adam Randall and quarterback Austin Reed each rushed for touchdowns in the fourth quarter to extend Baltimore's lead to 24-0. Philadelphia avoided the shutout when rookie quarterback Cole Payton connected with Erik Ezukanma for a six-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Fagnano completed 22 of 28 passes for 223 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The Ravens improved to 1-0 while the Eagles fell to 0-1. Attendance was 68,868.
