Meghan Trainor has signed with United Talent Agency, the agency announced exclusively through Deadline, giving the Grammy Award-winning pop star full representation across multiple areas of the entertainment industry.
UTA will work to build opportunities for Trainor in live touring, filmed entertainment, digital media, theatre, and brand partnerships. The signing follows a particularly active stretch for the Massachusetts native, who made her on-screen acting debut earlier this year in Ryan Murphy's FX series The Beauty. She played Condé Nast employee Brittany in the fashion-world thriller, which centered on international supermodels dying under gruesome and mysterious circumstances.
Trainor released her seventh studio album, "Toy With Me," in April.
Her career began with the 2014 debut album "Title," which produced the breakout single All About That Bass. The track earned diamond-certified status and stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 47 weeks. It also became widely recognized as an anthem for curvy and plus-sized women. The album also featured Dear Future Husband and the Top 10 hits Lips Are Movin and Like I'm Gonna Lose You, featuring John Legend. Trainor received the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2016.
Since then she has released five additional studio albums, including "Thank You" (2016), "Treat Myself" (2020), "A Very Trainor Christmas" (2020), "Takin' It Back" (2022), and "Timeless" (2024). She was honored with the Hitmaker Award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event.
Beyond music, Trainor has served as a judge, coach, mentor, and advisor on NBC's The Voice, BBC One's The Voice UK, Fox's The Four, and Network Ten's Australian Idol. She published a motherhood memoir, Dear Future Mama: A TMI Guide to Pregnancy, Birth, and Motherhood from Your Bestie, in 2023.
Her next project takes her into animation. Trainor is set to write and produce original songs for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation's Margie Claus, a holiday film starring Melissa McCarthy. She will collaborate with screenwriters Ben Falcone and Damon Jones on the film, which is scheduled for release on November 12, 2027.
Trainor will continue to be managed by Nikola Barisic of Bond Artist Management and represented by Aaron Rosenberg of Myman Greenspan Fox Rosenberg.
