Twenty years after its release, Beyonce's sophomore solo album B'Day is getting a major expansion. The singer unveiled the full tracklist for a 20th anniversary deluxe edition that stretches the original 13-track album to 27 songs, according to Billboard.
The reissue will be available in two vinyl formats and a CD package. The flagship release is a 4LP set pressed on 180G bayou blue vinyl, priced at $149.98. That version includes the recent one-off single "Morning Dew (Donk)," an extended mix of "Get Me Bodied," and several Spanish-language tracks, including "Irreemplazable," "Amor Gitano," "Listen (Oye)," "Beautiful Liar (Bello Embustero)," and "Get Me Bodied (Mueve el Cuerpo)." The 4LP package also includes a 60-page commemorative booklet and two collectible prints.
Two lower-priced options are also available. A limited-edition 2LP pressing featuring "Morning Dew (Donk)" and a 16-page booklet with never-before-seen photographs is priced at $44.98. A CD version with the same single and booklet runs $14.98. All formats are slated to ship on September 4.
The original B'Day was released in September 2006 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. It was co-produced by Beyonce alongside Ne-Yo, the Neptunes, Stargate, Swizz Beatz, Darkchild, and Nellee Hooper. The album produced three major hits: "Déjà Vu," featuring Jay-Z, which peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100; "Ring the Alarm," which reached number 11; and "Beautiful Liar," which climbed to number three.
B'Day has been reissued before. Less than eight months after the original dropped, an expanded two-disc deluxe edition arrived that included a duet with Shakira on "Beautiful Liar," a duet with Alejandro Fernandez on "Amor Gitano," and Spanish-language versions of "Listen," "Irreplaceable," and "Beautiful Liar." That release was accompanied by the B'Day Anthology Video Album, featuring 13 videos directed by Jake Nava, Sophie Muller, Diane Martel, Melina Matsoukas, Anthony Mandler, and Beyonce herself.
Earlier this month, Beyonce surprise-released a four-song "Morning Dew (Donk) Remix Pack" that included new verses from Jay-Z, an acoustic version, and an additional remix also featuring Jay-Z.
The 20th anniversary edition tracklist runs from the original album's opening tracks through to the newly added B-sides and Spanish-language versions, closing with "Get Me Bodied (Mueve el Cuerpo)."
