The 2026 NFL preseason ends this Saturday. After this weekend, the depth chart battles are settled and the regular season opens September 6.
Week 3 of the preseason wraps up a schedule that has been spread across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. According to Yahoo Sports, Thursday's national games included the Steelers at Bills on NFL Network, the Patriots at Browns on Prime Video, and the Rams at Chargers on NFL Network.
Friday brought two more nationally televised matchups. The Bengals faced the Eagles on CBS, and the Vikings took on the Broncos on NFL Network.
Saturday closes out the preseason with the Lions at Colts and the Bears at Titans, both on NFL Network. Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears will be among the teams playing their final tune-up before Week 1.
Not every starter will see the field this week. Many will be limited or listed as healthy scratches, as coaching staffs protect key players heading into the regular season. The games carry more weight for players on the roster bubble than for established starters.
