Ranked No. 10 in the country, Baylor School led Loudoun Sports Academy 23-6 through three quarters Friday night at Heywood Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee, in a game that carries significant college recruiting interest.

According to Yahoo Sports, the game features several players who have drawn attention from major programs, including Tennessee, Miami, Penn State, and others. Baylor School entered at 1-0, while Loudoun Sports Academy, from Leesburg, Virginia, came in at 0-0. Rankings reflect the USA TODAY Sports Super 25 national high school football poll.

The scoring started with Baylor School kicker Sam Shutters converting a 27-yard field goal in the first quarter after the Red Raiders drove inside Loudoun Sports Academy territory. A 37-yard attempt by Shutters earlier in the drive had missed. Baylor School led 3-0 after the first quarter.

The second quarter saw more action from both sides. Tennessee commit David Gabriel Georges, a 2027 running back, scored on a one-yard touchdown run with 3:58 remaining in the first half to extend the lead. Loudoun Sports Academy answered late in the half when 2028 wide receiver Malachi Lee, who received a scholarship offer from Tennessee in June, scored on a 39-yard touchdown pass with 21 seconds left. The extra point was blocked, leaving Baylor School ahead 10-6 at halftime.

The third quarter opened up for Baylor School. Wide receiver Antwaun Adams scored a touchdown with 8:42 remaining in the quarter, but the Red Raiders missed an onside kick afterward. Quarterback Beckham Stokes then added a touchdown on a pass play with 2:23 left in the third quarter, pushing the lead to 23-6.

Earlier in the game, cornerback Xavier Bowman delivered a key defensive play with an interception off Loudoun Sports Academy quarterback Anthony Jackson.

The game carries a notable recruiting dimension. Georges, one of Baylor School's key offensive weapons, committed to Tennessee on July 22. Baylor School's Ole Miss commit and quarterback Keegan Croucher also contributed with completions to Adams and tight end Braxton Rein throughout the game. Rein, Adams, Bowman, and linebacker Edward Brewer have all received scholarship offers from Tennessee.

On the Loudoun Sports Academy side, 2029 defensive end Darnell Engoto listed Tennessee among his top 11 schools on August 18, alongside Miami, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Wake Forest, North Carolina, Indiana, and Texas A&M.

The fourth quarter was ongoing at the time of the report.
