Two major Marvel films arrived on Disney+ today, September 4, and a third is set to follow later this month.
Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home are both now streaming on the platform. The additions come as Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to dominate the box office, having become one of the highest-grossing films of all time. According to Screen Rant, Brand New Day's streaming release has not yet been confirmed, and it will go to Netflix before Disney+ due to an existing Sony deal.
Far From Home sent Holland's Peter Parker against Jake Gyllenhaal's Mysterio in a story that ended with a reveal that reshaped Peter's place in the MCU. No Way Home brought Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Holland's versions of the character together on screen for the first time, alongside returning villains including Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin and Alfred Molina's Doc Ock.
The third live-action Spider-Man project coming to Disney+ this month is Kraven the Hunter. The film, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, arrives on September 13. It is an R-rated entry in Sony's Spider-Man Universe that portrays Kraven as a violent antihero rather than a traditional villain. The film also features a version of Rhino.
Separate from the live-action releases, the animated series Spidey and his Amazing Friends is set to return to Disney+ on September 25 with a special Halloween crossover episode titled Marvel's Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up. That series is the most-watched Marvel property on Disney+, having entered the Billion Hours Streamed Club in 2025.
