UK talent agency YMU Group has promoted five agents within its entertainment division in what the company is calling "a deliberate investment in the next generation of YMU leadership."
Four agents — Meghan Peterson, Jordan Johnson, Lauren Clark, and Nader Dehdashti — have been elevated to Executive Director roles spanning business operations, unscripted content, creators, and growth and innovation, respectively. Claire Dundas, who has spent more than 15 years with the division, was promoted to Senior Executive Director, according to Deadline.
The moves come three months after YMU's managing director of global entertainment, Lucy Loveridge, announced her exit following four years with the agency. She departs this month. CEO Mary Bekhait has been serving as interim MD in the meantime and framed the promotions as a signal of the division's momentum.
"Meghan, Jordan, Lauren and Nader are exactly the leaders this division needs right now — commercially driven, creatively sharp and deeply committed to our clients and to each other," Bekhait said. YMU's entertainment roster includes some of the biggest names in British television, among them Ant and Dec, Simon Cowell, and Graham Norton. The refreshed leadership team will work alongside longtime executives Melanie Rockcliffe, Paul Worsley, and Darren Worsley.
