The Wolverines, who became the first team with an all-transfer starting five to win a national championship, are already pursuing Wake Forest guard Juke Harris.

The Michigan Wolverines won the national championship on April 14, defeating UConn 69-63 to end the Big Ten's 26-year title drought. Coach Dusty May's staff was in the transfer portal before the locker room celebration ended.

The championship team made history as the first to win a title with an all-transfer starting five. Now Michigan must rebuild around that model, with key contributors Yaxel Lendeborg, Aday Mara, and Morez Johnson among the names to replace.

Two players have already left. Guard Malick Kordel and forward Winters Grady both transferred to Minnesota in mid-April. On the incoming side, Michigan landed Tennessee forward J.P. Estrella on April 9, a 6-foot-11 player who averaged 21.8 points per 40 minutes last season.

The biggest remaining target is Wake Forest transfer Juke Harris. According to On3's Pete Nakos, Harris and May were both in Los Angeles last week, though sources could not confirm they met in person. Michigan is believed to still be in the bidding for the guard, competing against Tennessee, which recently landed commit Terrence Hill Jr. Hill told FOX Sports Knoxville he hopes to help bring Harris to Knoxville.

Cincinnati transfer center Moustapha Thiam is also on Michigan's radar. On3 projected Thiam to the Wolverines on April 19, and he was set to visit Ann Arbor on Monday after a prior visit to St. John's.
