Arsenal secured their first Premier League title in 22 years on Tuesday after Manchester City could only draw 1-1 at Bournemouth, handing the Gunners the championship. Arsenal players and staff celebrated as the result came through, ending a more than two-decade wait for the club's top flight crown in England.

The last time Arsenal won the Premier League was during the 2003-04 season, the famous Invincibles campaign in which the club went the entire season unbeaten. The wait since then had stretched across multiple near-misses and title challenges that ultimately fell short.

Manchester City's failure to win at Bournemouth was enough to seal the outcome in Arsenal's favor, regardless of whatever Arsenal did in their own remaining fixtures. The draw triggered the celebrations for a club and fan base that has long chased a return to the summit of English football.

According to BBC Sport, Arsenal players and staff were captured celebrating as news of the City result came through. The scenes marked the end of a lengthy rebuild under their current management and a moment the club had been building toward across several seasons of close competition at the top of the table.

Tottenham Hotspur, meanwhile, faces a much grimmer final day of the season. Manager Roberto de Zerbi said Tuesday that the club's upcoming match against Everton on Sunday carries more weight than last season's Europa League final, as Spurs fight to secure their top-flight status and avoid relegation from the Premier League.
