Wyndham Clark shot an 11-under par 60 on Sunday to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in Texas, finishing three shots clear of overnight leader Si Woo Kim and pulling away from defending champion Scottie Scheffler.
According to BBC Sport, Clark finished at 30 under par for the tournament, a score of 254. That makes him just the 10th man to finish a four-round event at 30 under or better since 1983.
Clark, 32, had entered the final round with rounds of 66, 63 and 65 already on his card. On Sunday he added an eagle and nine birdies. His approach to the 18th hole left him a two-and-a-half foot putt for birdie, which he made to seal the win.
Kim, the South Korean who had carded his own 60 on Friday to take the lead, could not replicate that form in the final round. He shot a 65 to finish at 27 under, three back of Clark. Scheffler, the world number one, finished two shots further back at 25 under in third.
It is Clark's fourth PGA Tour title. His last win came in February 2024 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. His most notable victory before this week was the 2023 U.S. Open.
ESPN reported that Clark overtook Kim by three strokes and pulled away from Scheffler across the final round. The final leaderboard also included J. Suber at 23 under and K. Mitchell at 22 under. Among the English players, J. Parry and D. Brown finished at 11 under, with D. Willett finishing at 3 under.
