Hours before performing at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Mexican rock band Maná announced a Latin American stadium tour set for later this year. The announcement came Thursday, June 11, according to Billboard.

The Vivir Sin Aire Tour will serve as a celebration of the band's 40th anniversary. It opens November 28 at the Vive Claro in Bogotá, Colombia, and closes December 17 at the Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. The tour also includes stops in Peru, Chile and Argentina.

The band performed at the World Cup opening ceremony at Mexico City's Estadio Azteca, which organizers said drew billions of viewers worldwide. During the ceremony, Maná played their classic song "Oye Mi Amor" to a crowd of 87,000 fans at the stadium. The opening ceremony also featured Shakira, Burna Boy, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules, Belinda, Tyla, Alejandro Fernández and Danny Ocean.

Maná is composed of lead singer Fher Olvera, drummer Álex González, guitarist Sergio Vallín and bassist Juan Calleros.

"I believe that some of the most beautiful things in the world are art and sports because they have the power to bring people together," Olvera said in an interview with Billboard Español ahead of the ceremony. "Soccer brings entire countries together around a shared emotion, and music does something similar. That's why it's so special for us to be part of the World Cup's opening ceremony. Imagine what it means to kick off an event that will be watched by billions of people across the planet and to do it in Mexico, no less. It feels monumental."

The Latin American leg follows an extensive U.S. tour the band completed earlier this year. Maná made history in 2025 as the first Latin band nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Billboard also placed them in the top 10 of its staff list of the 50 Greatest Rock Bands in Spanish of All Time.

The song "Oye Mi Amor" recently gained additional exposure through Dua Lipa's live album Live From Mexico City, recorded during the final show of her global Radical Optimism tour last December. Lipa invited Olvera onstage to perform the song with her.

The confirmed Latin American tour dates are: Nov. 28 in Bogotá, Colombia; Dec. 2 in Lima, Peru; Dec. 5 in Santiago, Chile; Dec. 10 in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Dec. 17 in Mexico City, Mexico.
