The Weeknd sold more than 3 million tickets and grossed $440 million in 2026 alone, as his years-long "After Hours Til Dawn" stadium tour kicked off its European and U.K. leg with a sold-out show at Etihad Stadium in Manchester on Thursday night.

According to Variety, the tour crossed $1 billion in global gross last year after the addition of 2026 dates across Europe, the U.K., and Latin America. Total figures now stand at more than 7.5 million tickets sold across 153 shows, making it the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist.

The tour launched in 2022 and has visited North America, Europe, the U.K., Latin America, and Australia, returning for second runs in every territory except Australia. It is scheduled to conclude this fall in Asia, with stops in Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur. The Asia leg was originally announced with 11 stadium dates but has expanded to 17 shows due to demand.

The current European run includes multiple nights in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam, Nice, and Milan, among other cities. The second Manchester date is Friday, June 12, before the tour moves on to Copenhagen the following week.

The tour may be his last under the name the Weeknd. He exclusively told Variety last year that he plans to retire his stage name and presumably work under his birth name, Abel Tesfaye.

As part of the European and U.K. leg, the Weeknd is partnering with Global Citizen to raise funds for children's education through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. He is also continuing a partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme to support the XO Humanitarian Fund, which addresses the global hunger crisis. One euro from each ticket sold in Europe and one pound per ticket in the U.K. will go to those two organizations. Fans can also earn a free pair of tickets to each tour date by taking action on Global Citizen's platform.

The fall Asia dates will bring the tour to its conclusion after more than four years on the road.
