Seven million people watched the UFC Freedom 250 event on Paramount Plus, making it the largest exclusive live stream in the platform's history. The Nielsen streaming figures cover United States viewers only. An additional 1.2 million tuned in from Latin America.

According to Yahoo Sports, nearly 17 million people watched at least one minute of the event, with 15.26 million of those viewers in the United States. Viewing totals from other territories are expected to be released next week.

The June 14 card was held on the South Lawn of the White House, making it one of the more unusual settings in UFC history. The event drew significant criticism before it aired, with detractors calling it a crass spectacle. Bad weather added to the complications on fight night. Neither factor appeared to dampen audience interest.

For context, the first-ever UFC card on Fox averaged 5.7 million viewers and peaked at 8.8 million. That stood as the most-watched MMA event in U.S. history until Netflix aired a Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano fight night, which averaged 9.3 million U.S. viewers and peaked at 11.6 million. The Freedom 250 number of 7 million falls between those two benchmarks.

UFC CEO Dana White and other supporters made aggressive claims in the days around the event that it was drawing Super Bowl-like numbers. Those claims did not hold up. The Freedom 250 came closest to matching the 2025 Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl between Penn State and Clemson, which averaged 7.6 million viewers. The UFC is in the first year of a seven-year, $7.7 billion deal with Paramount.
