Novak Djokovic opened his Wimbledon 2026 campaign with a four-set victory over China's Wu Yibing on Monday, winning 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.
Djokovic controlled most of the match but dropped the second set as Wu mounted a comeback. The Serbian held firm in the third and fourth sets to close out the win and advance to the second round.
Wu, ranked inside the top 100, gave Djokovic a test in the second set before the former world number one steadied. The win puts Djokovic through at the All England Club as he continues his pursuit of more Grand Slam titles.
