Cardi B is releasing new music this week. After previewing the single Ah Ha on Monday, July 27, the overwhelmingly positive reception from fans pushed her and Atlantic Records to announce a release date. The track is set to hit streaming services on Friday, July 31. "Meet me at the club," Cardi wrote in the Instagram post announcing the date.
The single marks Cardi's first release since Am I the Drama?, which arrived in September 2025 and topped the Billboard 200.
On Ah Ha, Cardi delivers a repeating chorus built around the song's title before shifting into lyrics that target her critics and men she sees as adversaries. The song also includes a direct reference to President Donald Trump. "Black trucks at the club look like Trump in this b--h, f--k him/ A hoe never played with me once in this b--h," she raps.
After the preview dropped, fans speculated that a separate lyric was aimed at ex-boyfriend Stefon Diggs. Cardi went on Instagram Live on Tuesday, July 28, to address the interpretation directly. "I know exactly how I felt when I said that s--t. I could have a baby with a n--a, but that's the issue," she said. "You could have a baby with a n--a, and sometimes n--as think that because you have a baby with them or you gonna keep a baby or you have a baby that you won't move the f--k on or you'll stay there taking s--t. Nah, b--h, I'll take my baby and get the f--k on. That's for sure. Like nah, b--h, a baby ain't trapping me b--h."
The cover art for the single shows Cardi in a Dominican Republic-themed flag bikini, the same one she wore in the original track teaser video posted on the beach.
Cardi kicked off the Little Miss Drama Tour in February, her first headlining North American tour. The new single arrives as she continues to remain active in the spotlight following Am I the Drama?'s release.
