The rebooted Baywatch is heading to Prime Video in more than a dozen countries, thanks to a new multi-territory deal between international distributor Fremantle and Amazon's streaming service, according to Variety.

The agreement covers Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Benelux, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Canada, Latin America, and India. Audiences in those regions will get access to the new 12-episode season when it arrives in 2027, along with all past seasons of the original series and the spin-off Baywatch Hawaii.

In the United States, the show is set to debut in January 2027. In the United Kingdom, it will land on Sky.

Stephen Amell, best known for Arrow, leads the new cast. Jessica Belkin plays Charlie Vale and Shay Mitchell, known for Pretty Little Liars, plays Trina. Also joining the cast are Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad, Noah Beck as Luke, and Brooks Nader as Selene. Livvy Dunne portrays a character named Grace, and David Chokachi returns to reprise his role as Cody Madison from the original series.

Three original cast members will appear as guest stars: Erika Eleniak, Michael Bergin, and Kelly Packard.

The new series follows a fresh cast of lifeguards patrolling what the show describes as the world's most famous stretch of sand, taking on ocean emergencies as well as personal drama.

Michela Di Mondo, Fremantle's EVP for international distribution, brokered the deal. "We're thrilled to be partnering with Prime Video to bring the new 'Baywatch' to audiences across multiple territories, while also giving fans the opportunity to revisit the original series they know and love," Di Mondo said. "Few shows have made as big a splash or had such lasting cultural impact as 'Baywatch,' and this landmark deal marks a significant moment for one of the industry's most eagerly anticipated launches."

Fox Entertainment Global holds domestic distribution rights while Fremantle handles international sales. The show is produced by both companies.
