Ariana Grande's seventh studio album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 last weekend, and the singer took to Instagram to thank the fans who made it happen.

According to Billboard, Grande shared the news on Sunday, August 9, via an Instagram Story, reposting the outlet's own headline about the album's debut. "thank you from the bottom of my heart," she wrote, adding a heart emoji.

The album release landed on the same weekend Grande closed out the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour in Chicago. On Saturday, she posted a series of behind-the-scenes photos and short video clips documenting the making of the record. "petal forever," she wrote as the caption.

In a separate post marking the end of the North American run, she addressed fans directly. "i love you … i cannot believe that this concludes the north american leg of the eternal sunshine tour," she wrote. "i am overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude. thank you endlessly for the most special, beautiful, joyful and deeply fulfilling few months … i will cherish every moment of this time with you all & these memories forever. thank you, chicago … london, i cannot wait to see you soon. i love you all more than ever."

Her brother Frankie also published a message after the show at Chicago's United Center, along with a video of himself and their mother at the concert. "Family forever. I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you. Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created. It was a magical night. You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time," he wrote.

Grande now heads to London for the final stretch of the tour, with 10 concerts scheduled at the O2 Arena between August 15 and September 1.

After the tour wraps, Grande plans to step back from public life. A statement from her representative shared with People last weekend said she "looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances." Grande has described the decision as one that was "quietly made a long time ago" and not "reactive."

That break includes withdrawing from a previously announced starring role in a revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sunday in the Park With George, which had been expected to open in London next summer.

Petal is Grande's seventh number one album on the Billboard 200.
