DUBLIN City Council has run out of funding for key graffiti removal programmes, a Northside councillor has claimed.
Cllr Anne Carter (Lab) claims that she has been informed that no more graffiti will be removed by Dublin City Council unless it is seriously offensive or on its property.

Suspected crime boss Daniel Kinahan appeared in a Dublin courtroom Sunday after being extradited from the United Arab Emirates, where he had been arrested in April, according to reporting by Al Jazeera and the BBC.
Kinahan, 49, was brought before the non-jury Special Criminal Court in Dublin. He has been charged with directing the activities of a criminal organisation between October 2015 and April 2017. After the hearing, he was remanded in custody. Before the ruling, he told the court: "I think we all know I won't be getting bail."
The BBC's Ireland correspondent, Chris Page, was inside the court during the hearing.
The Kinahan cartel has been responsible for trafficking tonnes of drugs and firearms around the world for more than 20 years, according to the UK's National Crime Agency. The cartel's reach and Kinahan's long residence in Dubai had made his apprehension and extradition a lengthy international pursuit. Reporting from the Guardian described his return to Ireland as ending a global game of cat-and-mouse.
The UAE's decision to extradite Kinahan marked a significant moment in international law enforcement cooperation. Kinahan had been living in Dubai for years, largely out of reach of European authorities, before his arrest there in April.
