The Cincinnati Reds defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-5 in 10 innings to improve their record to 60-65. Emilio Pagán earned the win for Cincinnati after pitching one scoreless inning, allowing no hits and one walk while striking out two. Justin Bruihl took the loss for St. Louis. Eugenio Suárez drove in Elly De La Cruz with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first inning to give Cincinnati an early lead. Iván Herrera homered for the Cardinals in the fourth to tie the game. St. Louis eventually moved ahead, but Dane Myers hit a pinch-hit solo home run in the bottom of the ninth to tie the score at 5-5. In the 10th, De La Cruz delivered an RBI double that scored automatic runner Tyler Stephenson and gave Cincinnati the walk-off victory.

The Chicago Cubs defeated the Chicago White Sox 7-5 in 10 innings at Wrigley Field. Pete Crow-Armstrong hit two home runs, including a two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th that was his 30th of the season. Crow-Armstrong and Seiya Suzuki each homered in the first inning as the Cubs jumped ahead 2-0. Randal Grichuk answered with a three-run homer for the White Sox in the fourth. Nico Hoerner later drove in two runs with a single in the fifth. Jacob Webb earned the win for the Cubs, improving his record to 5-2.

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Baltimore Orioles 7-6 at Tropicana Field. Cam Booser earned the win for Tampa Bay, while Bryan Baker recorded the save. Coby Mayo homered in the top of the second inning to give Baltimore a 1-0 lead before Yandy Díaz answered with a home run in the third. The Rays rallied in the seventh, when Jonathan Aranda delivered an RBI single and Jonny DeLuca followed with a two-run single that put Tampa Bay ahead.

The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 in the first game of their doubleheader at Great American Ball Park. Luis Gastelum earned the win for the Cardinals, while Riley O'Brien recorded his 31st save of the season. Alec Burleson drove in both St. Louis runs with a double in the first inning. Dane Myers hit a solo home run for Cincinnati in the fourth to cut the deficit to 2-1, but the Reds were unable to score again. Kent Emanuel took the loss after allowing two earned runs over five innings. Attendance was 20,434.

The Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Miami Marlins 6-5 at Citizens Bank Park, with Cristopher Sánchez earning the win. Trea Turner and Luis Arraez each drove in runs in the third inning to give Philadelphia a 2-0 lead. The Phillies extended their advantage in the sixth with runs driven in by Derek Hill and Kyle Schwarber. Hill drew a bases-loaded walk in the seventh that scored Alec Bohm and gave Philadelphia another run. Bohm then added an RBI single in the eighth as the Phillies held off Miami's late comeback attempt.

The New York Mets defeated the San Diego Padres 2-1 at Citi Field behind a strong outing from Nolan McLean. In the bottom of the first inning, Bo Bichette singled to score A.J. Ewing and give the Mets a 1-0 lead. Luis Robert Jr. followed with a sacrifice fly that brought home Francisco Lindor for the second run. Fernando Tatis Jr. drove in Gavin Sheets with a sacrifice fly in the second inning for San Diego's only run. McLean improved to 9-8 with a 3.34 ERA, while Walker Buehler fell to 7-6 after allowing two runs over six innings. Daniel Duarte pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the save.

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Colorado Rockies 11-5 at Coors Field. Mookie Betts doubled in the second inning as Los Angeles began building an early advantage. Shohei Ohtani hit two home runs in the game, a solo shot in the fifth inning for his 28th of the season and a two-run homer in the sixth for his 29th. Max Muncy also hit a three-run home run as the Dodgers pulled away. Blake Snell delivered a strong start for Los Angeles, while Tomoyuki Sugano took the loss for Colorado after allowing six earned runs over five innings. Attendance was 34,609.

The Boston Red Sox defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 11-1 at Fenway Park behind a strong pitching performance from Brayan Bello. Boston built a 4-0 lead with RBI hits from Eli White, Nick Sogard, Caleb Durbin and Ceddanne Rafaela. Willson Contreras added a solo home run in the fifth inning before Andruw Monasterio drove in another run with a sacrifice fly and Mickey Gasper added an RBI groundout. Wilyer Abreu contributed a sacrifice fly in the sixth and Adley Rutschman followed with an RBI double. Gasper homered in the seventh, and Abreu added another RBI single as Boston completed the rout.

The Detroit Tigers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-5 at PNC Park behind a strong outing from Framber Valdez. Zach McKinstry went 3-for-4 with a walk and an RBI for Detroit. Hao-Yu Lee also collected three hits, drew a walk and drove in two runs. Carmen Mlodzinski took the loss for Pittsburgh after allowing four earned runs in three innings. Nick Yorke provided much of the Pirates' offense, driving in three runs with a bases-clearing double and finishing 2-for-4. Attendance was 21,956.

The Minnesota Twins defeated the Atlanta Braves 4-2 at Target Field, with Travis Adams earning the win. Minnesota scored all four of its runs in the first inning. Josh Bell hit a ground-rule double that scored Luke Keaschall and Byron Buxton. Royce Lewis followed with an RBI single, and Kody Clemens added another run-scoring single to give the Twins a 4-0 lead. Atlanta responded in the fifth when Austin Riley singled, Drake Baldwin doubled and Ronald Acuña Jr. singled both runners home. Martín Pérez took the loss after allowing four earned runs in five innings, while Yoendrys Gómez pitched a scoreless inning to earn the save.

The Kansas City Royals defeated the Athletics 9-5 at Kauffman Stadium, with Michael Wacha earning the win. Jeff McNeil opened the scoring with a home run for the Athletics in the top of the first inning. Kansas City answered when Salvador Perez drove in two runs with a single in the bottom half. Kyle Isbel contributed a run and an RBI later in the game as the Royals built their lead. Steven Cruz recorded the save for Kansas City. Attendance was 12,438.
