Scottie Scheffler finished the 2025 PGA Tour season as the top earner on tour with $27.7 million in winnings. In 2026, he is doing it again.

Scheffler won the opening event of the FedEx Cup playoffs and sits well ahead of the rest of the field on the season money list as of August 18, according to Golfweek. The full 2026 PGA Tour season features more than $400 million in combined purses across its events, giving the top players significant opportunities to add to their totals.

Last season, Tommy Fleetwood finished second on the money list with $18.5 million, and Rory McIlroy was third at $17 million. Both trailed Scheffler by a wide margin.

The FedEx Cup playoffs, which determine the Tour's season-long champion, are now underway. Scheffler's win in the first event gave him an early advantage in both the playoff points standings and the overall money race heading into the remaining events.
