The Tennessee Titans completed a second-half comeback Sunday night to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 19-16 at Nissan Stadium, wrapping up the second week of the 2026 NFL preseason.
Seattle controlled the opening quarter behind backup quarterback Drew Lock. Lock completed his first 11 passes and opened the scoring with a 36-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Arroyo. Tennessee answered with a 55-yard field goal from Joey Slye before Jacardia Wright broke through the Titans defense for a 69-yard touchdown run.
Jason Myers added a 48-yard field goal later in the first quarter, giving Seattle a 16-3 advantage. It turned out to be the Seahawks’ final points of the night.
Tennessee gradually worked its way back into the game. Slye made field goals from 33 and 40 yards during the second quarter, cutting Seattle’s advantage to 16-9 at halftime. Neither team scored in the third quarter.
Slye connected again from 43 yards early in the fourth, pulling Tennessee within four points. The Titans finally took the lead when D’Ernest Johnson scored on a 2-yard touchdown run with 5:45 remaining. Slye made the extra point to give Tennessee its 19-16 advantage.
Lock completed 12 of 14 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown during an efficient first half for Seattle. Wright finished with 81 rushing yards on eight carries, with most of that production coming on his 69-yard touchdown.
Seattle turned to Jalen Milroe in the second half, but the offense struggled to maintain the momentum it had established earlier. Milroe completed 6 of 11 passes for 52 yards and threw two interceptions.
Tennessee starter Cam Ward completed 8 of 12 passes for 69 yards during three series. Although the Titans’ starting offense had difficulty reaching the end zone, Slye kept Tennessee within striking distance. The veteran kicker finished a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals and made his only extra-point attempt, accounting for 13 of Tennessee’s 19 points.
The victory improved Tennessee to 2-0 in the preseason, while Seattle fell to 0-2.
Sunday’s game was the only NFL preseason contest of the day and completed a busy Week 2 schedule that began Thursday.
The Las Vegas Raiders opened the week with a narrow 22-20 victory over the Houston Texans. The San Francisco 49ers produced one of the week’s highest-scoring performances later Thursday, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 41-17.
Three games were played Friday. The New York Jets shut out the Pittsburgh Steelers 17-0, while the Carolina Panthers defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-17. The Green Bay Packers finished Friday’s schedule with a convincing 33-13 victory over the Denver Broncos.
Saturday featured 10 preseason games.
The Detroit Lions defeated the Washington Commanders 17-13 in one of the closer games of the afternoon. Buffalo had a much easier time against Cleveland, as the Bills defeated the Browns 31-7.
The Atlanta Falcons also produced a lopsided victory, beating the Indianapolis Colts 34-6. Baltimore held Minnesota to just three points as the Ravens defeated the Vikings 13-3.
The Los Angeles Rams recorded the weekend’s only 34-point shutout, defeating the New Orleans Saints 34-0. The New York Giants were also dominant defensively in a 26-3 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Cincinnati defeated Chicago 27-9 as the Bengals continued their unbeaten preseason. New England earned a 24-21 victory over Philadelphia in one of Saturday evening’s closest contests.
Tampa Bay edged Kansas City 16-15, handing the Chiefs their second preseason loss. The Dallas Cowboys closed Saturday night with a 34-13 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
With Tennessee’s comeback Sunday, all 16 games of NFL Preseason Week 2 were complete.
Several teams produced especially dominant performances during the week. San Francisco scored 41 against the Chargers, while Carolina, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Dallas each reached at least 34 points. Three teams held their opponents to three points or fewer: the Jets shut out Pittsburgh, the Rams shut out New Orleans and the Giants held Miami to three points.
Other games came down to the closing stages. Las Vegas defeated Houston by two points, Tampa Bay beat Kansas City by one, New England topped Philadelphia by three and Tennessee completed its 13-point comeback to beat Seattle by three.
The preseason now moves toward its final week, when teams will have their last opportunities to evaluate players and settle roster competitions before the regular season begins.
