Prime Video Spain announced a broad slate of new films and series during a presentation in Madrid, with a sequel to the thriller Zeta headlining the lineup. The streamer declared Zeta its most-watched local feature title and confirmed director Dani de la Torre and stars Mario Casas and Luis Zahera will all return for the follow-up.
The announcement, reported by Deadline, also included a feature adaptation of the third book in author Mercedes Ron's Dímelo trilogy. The first film in the series, Enfrentados: Marfil, directed by Oscar Pedraza and starring Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García, is set to premiere in September. The second film, Dímelo en secreto, is scheduled for 2027. The third, Dímelo con besos, was greenlit alongside the announcement.
Also joining the feature slate is Si los muertos hablaran, a whodunnit filming this summer across Madrid and Kenya. The film is directed by Nacho Velilla and stars Carmen Machi, Hugo Silva, Megan Montaner and Maribel Verdú.
On the television side, Prime Video will produce Mataleón, a four-episode true crime series based on the 2014 murder of Spanish politician Isabel Carrasco. The series will be written by Lucía Carballal, Laia Foguet and María Bastarós and will star Najwa Nimri.
The streamer also added Cuando solo quedemos nosotros to its scripted slate. Based on a novel by Inés Garber, the series is described as a psychological thriller with romantic undertones. Nine strangers find themselves locked in a mansion and forced to take part in a deadly game. Director Samantha López will helm the project, with Judith Fernández and Pau Simón in the lead roles.
