Taipei Arena was the center of the Mandarin-language music world on Saturday night. The 37th Golden Melody Awards, often called the Grammys of Mandarin pop, produced a dominant performance from two artists who split the evening's biggest honors between them.

According to Variety, Jolin Tsai won Album of the Year for Pleasure, released through Warner Music Taiwan. The same album had already earned her Best Mandarin Female Singer earlier in the ceremony, giving her two of the night's top prizes. The Golden Melody Awards recognize excellence across Mandarin, Taiwanese, Hakka, and Indigenous-language music.

Singer-songwriter Chang Chen-yue matched Tsai in ambition and took home three awards. His album Walk with Feelings, released via Rock Records, earned him Best Mandarin Album. He also won Best Mandarin Male Singer and Best Composer, making him the most decorated individual of the night across craft categories.

Tsai's sweep extended into technical recognition as well. Pleasure also won Best Vocal Recording Album, a result that demonstrated the project's strength from performance through production.

Song of the Year went to Singing with Happiness, the Happy Version theme song from the film The Sunshine Girls Choir. The song was performed by A-Lin and composed by Li Fangrui with lyrics by Lin Xiaoqian.

In the Taiwanese-language categories, Ricky Hsiao won both Best Taiwanese Album for Be a Kind and Soft-Hearted Person, released through Warner Music Taiwan, and Best Taiwanese Male Singer. PiA Wu Bei-ya claimed Best Taiwanese Female Singer for First Experience of Divorce. The Hakka awards went to Huang Yu-han, whose album Ngai won Best Hakka Album, and to Sarah Chen Yi-nuo, who won Best Hakka Singer for Slow Flower Journal.

The Indigenous language categories honored Outlet Drift's Masonolay i Cepo' for Best Indigenous Language Album and Suming Rupi, who won Best Indigenous Language Singer for Mikerid Guiding the Way.

In the group categories, Taiwanese indie band Sunset Rollercoaster claimed Best Musical Group for their album Quit Quietly. The group includes Tseng Kuo-hung, Lo Tsun-lung, Chen Hung-li, Wang Shao-hsuan, and Huang Hao-ting. Girl group Genblue took Best Vocal Group for Mirror.

Best Newcomer went to Chen Xianjing for Who Wants to be Sad if Every Day Could be Happy Happy. The technical awards included ØZI and The Crane named Best Single Producer for Final Final Final, and Jude and Chui Chin-hung winning Best Arranger for Leaving the Silver Wilderness.

The Jury Award went to Chen Xiao-xia's Old Wings album. The Special Contribution Award was presented to Lin Huang-kun and the late Tu Ying, two figures whose work helped shape the foundation of Mandarin popular music.
